Today, Giulia, Client Experience and Partnerships Manager at KÖNIG GALERIE, introduces FIGURE 1, 2, 3 by Julian Opie, a group of sculptures she knows particularly well from leading private guided tours in the sculpture garden of St. Agnes.

Known for his minimalist and graphic visual language, Opie distills everyday situations into simple lines and forms. Although the figures may seem straightforward at first, they encourage viewers to question their presence and imagine the stories behind them. For her, the work perfectly demonstrates how Opie transforms an ordinary moment into a sculpture that is subtle yet filled with emotion, memory, and optimism.
