In this edition of Studio Sounds, Emily Weiner presents a playlist influenced by cycles, reflection, and subtle changes in perception, mirroring the ambiance of her exhibition, LUNACY. Moving between introspective songwriting and expansive, cinematic soundscapes, the playlist has no fixed center and circles themes of light, fracture, and renewal.

Much like her paintings, the playlist connects the intimate with the cosmic. Songs return to questions of meaning, repetition, and change, creating a subtle rhythm of recurrence. When listened to alongside the works, sound becomes another layer of orientation that mirrors the exhibition’s interest in interdependence and how meaning emerges through relation rather than certainty.

Weiner approaches each painting intuitively, and by working in many layers of paint, finds...
