KÖNIG GALERIE is pleased to present THROUGH A GLASS BRIGHTLY in the gallery’s SHOWROOM. It includes a selection of works by over 30 contemporary artists, both from and beyond the gallery’s roster. The presentation brings together works directly from the artists, as well as from the secondary market.

THROUGH A GLASS BRIGHTLY explores how it is that artists perceive and interpret the world, showcasing the myriad ways in which their creative vision can provide unique insights into pressing social issues and current events. The artworks are distinguished by their use of subversive humor, references to art and its histories, self-reflection, and self-representation. While not all works address political matters explicitly, the selection as a whole reflects prevailing feelings of uncertainty and fear today, vacillating between anxiety and escapism.
