Kausalkonsequenz

From 7 September 2020 to 8 August 2021 the Langen Foundation is presenting «Kausalkonsequenz», an extensive solo exhibition by Alicja Kwade, who is deemed one of the most important visual artists of her generation. By intensively engaging with the Langen Foundation’s outstanding architecture, the Berlin-based artist has conceived an exhibition that extends well into its vast premises to create a dialogue between the indoor and the outdoor. Alicja Kwade’s work investigates and questions the structures of our reality and society and reflects on our perceptual habits in our everyday life. Her diverse practice is based around concepts of space, time, science and philosophy, takes shape in sculptural objects, public installations, video and even photography.
