Monica Bonvicini has created enormous letters that spell out the demand “SATISFY ME. Placed on top of the landfill, they confidently crown the plateau, like an American billboard. Owing to their reflective steel surface, they can be seen from quite a distance.

Monica Bonvicini emerged as a visual artist and started exhibiting internationally in the mid-1990s. Her multifaceted practice investigates the relationship between architecture, power structures, gender and space.
