#03 75 x 273 x 280 cmTHE SKY, THE EARTH AND YOU consists of three nested circular mirror parts with different spatial orientations. One side of each is flat, whilst the other side the surface is folded in a triangular shard-like pattern. The flat side reflects the world as we see it in our everyday life and the folded side shows us a multi-perspective representation of us and our surroundings. The innermost surface mainly focuses with its flat side on what is above (the sky) the middle one leads the unfragmented view towards the grass and the flowers on the ground (Earth) and simultaneously splits the sky into something almost unreal. The largest Ring reflects the viewer, and this reflection appears in a place in between sky and earth. It is again rather clear on one side and shows us the complexity of the construction of "truth" on the fragmented side.
