PETRIFIED GARDEN

PRIMARY SCHOOL UTRECHT, UTRECHT, HOLLAND
PERMANENT INSTALLATION SINCE 2009

During workshops, children were asked to fantasize about plants, about what they would look like in the past or in the future, and to make drawings or spatial impressions. The garden is intended as a meeting place, but it also aims to be a breeding ground for new stories and cultural activities. Writer Maria Barnas wrote stories about the origins of the garden. They are bundled in a booklet accompanying the project.
