This jellyfish is the most commonly known and seen in the North Sea and the Baltic. In Tue Greenforts exhibition EQUILIBRIUM at the NAVE of ST. AGNES, they populate the gallery space in glass form and are a free interpretation of its original form and colour. Greenfort explores another technique that has traditionally been used to create objects of natural elements in order to classify and archive them: Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka were glass artists from Dresden, Germany, native to the Bohemian (Czech)–German borderland, and known for the production of biological models such as the glass sea creatures and Harvard University's Glass Flowers.
