Rinus Van de Velde
KÖNIG GALERIE is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Rinus Van de Velde at Gemeentemuseum, The Hague.
Rinus Van de Velde (b. Leuven, 1983) is a leading figure on the Belgian contemporary art scene. His work revolves mainly around the tension between fiction and reality. For the show in the museum’s Projects Gallery, he will create a completely new site-specific installation, composed of drawings and sculptures set against a painterly background referencing major painters of the twentieth century.
The exhibition by Erwin Wurm in the Kunsthaus Graz takes as its starting point the open architectural structure of the Kunsthaus. Elements of the performative, participatory and sculptural form are thus connected to one another and to the building. More
The exhibition, which includes several works that have not been on view since the 1960s, emphasizes Kogelnik’s explorations in technology and newly available materials, and her concerns regarding the containment and objectification of women’s bodies. More
Camille Henrot’s exhibition at Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz will be the first solo institutional presentation of her œuvre in Austria. Developed in close collaboration with the artist, the project in Vienna will consist entirely of new works produced for the occasion and in response to the architecture of the space. More
